This month’s Copper Hills meeting was called to order by our new President Jerry at 11:40 AM at Skipolini’s in Reno, Nevada on January 15th.

Roll Call was taken by our new secretary, Janet. There were 25 members attending. Merre, one of our honorary members, brought Marty’s daughter Denise. Denise gave us an update on Marty’s surgery. The surgery went well, but Marty will be out of commission for 6 to 8 weeks.

Marv reported that we raise $365.00 for Northern Nevada Food Bank.  Jerry will call the Food Bank and set up a time to give them a check for $365.00.

Randy  talked about our camp out at Eureka, Nevada in June. He asked who thought they would go and at least 10 rigs indicated they might go.

January birthdays: Mary N, January 5th and Jerry, January 16th

Anniversaries: Hank & Tana on January 4th.

Trail bosses, Bob & Linda were thanked for organizing the meeting at Skipolini’s.

Next month’s meeting will be hosted by Nancy and Harry and will be at Reds 395 restaurant in Carson City on the 19th of February.

2019 December

A combined Holiday Christmas party was held at Baldini’s Sports Casino and Restaurant on December 7, beginning at 11:00 am. Swinging Sams hosted the party and greeted the members of Copper Hills Sams as we arrived.

Throughout the party, members of both chapters visited and got acquainted.

Lunch was served around noon buffet style and everyone filled their plates many times.
The day ended with full stomachs, happy hearts, and goodbyes until January.

The combined Christmas party was successful and our Copper Hills members want to thank the Swinging Sams Chapter for all of their hard work that was needed to make the party a success.
